About the Art and the Artist 

Laszlo Molnar was born in Hungary and completed his education there. He has been living in the United States since 2006 in New York, City. In 2005, he invented the technique by which he produces his Op-Art collage creations.

Each of his works is produced by hand and uniquely designed. Each work of art is comprised of hand-cut, geometric forms individually applied to mat board to create a striking visual image.
Over the years, he has explored, developed and refined this technique, striving to make each new work of art more interesting and more visually surprising.
Recognition of his artistic achievement came in 2009 when Mr. Molnar received the highly regarded “Gold Brush Award” in the aqua-media category for his work at the 67^th Annual Audubon Artists exhibition.
Many of Mr. Molnar’s art works can be found in private collections. He has exhibited in art shows in New York, Connecticut and Virginia.
